ABOUT NEW BERN CHRISTMAS IN JULY
MISSION
New Bern Christmas in July is primarily aimed at bringing visibility to local small businesses and select non profit organizations, while highlighting music and the arts. We recognize the importance of supporting local businesses and desire to emphasize the fact that music is business, too! Simultaneously, this a community effort to combine resources and aid those in need. Through toys, clothes and food donations, we can be a blessing to families facing financial hardship.

Festival
The New Bern Christmas in July Festival provides a unique way to support local businesses and strengthen community. Artists, musicians, vendors, food trucks, raffle prizes, live entertainment and activities ranging from a toy drive to an instrument petting zoo, all promise to engage attendees of all ages. The lineup for live entertainment features Hank Barbee & the Dust Parade! Come join the celebration and experience this summer twist to America's favorite holiday!
The festival opens at 8:00AM and closes at 2:00PM.
'Summer Wonderland' Gala
The New Bern Christmas in July 'Summer Wonderland' Gala features an art exhibit and silent auction to close the celebration in fashionable style. Attire is formal or festive. Start the evening with a cocktail hour reception followed by a performance from the very elegant Alisa E. Mike! Select vendors will offer raffle prizes and special recognition presentations will be made. Joe Brown & The Band will close the night with an electrifying set of Music for the People! Cash bar and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
A PORTION OF ALL PROCEEDS FROM FESTIVAL AND GALA WILL BE DONATED TO ONE OF OUR NONPROFIT COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
The gala opens at 6:00PM and concludes at 10:00PM.
